Student of the Month Program 

Every month the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teachers select one male and one female from each grade to serve as the Students of the Month.  Our Principal, Patti Smith, honors these students each month at the Drew Central School Board Meeting where their parents and families are invited to attend.  Each month, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Jones host a pizza party for these students to honor and thank these students for their outstanding behavior! The qualifications for being selected as a Student of the Month are below.

Academic​
  • Does the student prepare for classroom activities?

  • Does the student go above and beyond his/her role as a student?

  • Has the student made significant progress in your classroom?

  • Has the student been working to their potential?

  • Does the student have all work turned in?

​Citizenship
  • Is the student a positive role model?

  • Does the student actively participate and put forth full effort? Does the student demonstrate respect to the student body, staff, and faculty?

  • Does the student exhibit good character?

  • Does the student follow school rules?

  • Does the student arrive to school and to class on time?

​Personal Development
  • Does the student engage in extra-curricular activities?

  • Has the student volunteered at school or in the community?

  • Is the student a member of a club or organization outside of school?
